His film Chatledo Eideewon him the National Award for BestRegional Film in 2001. Later he directedLaibakthibi and the children’s film,Yenning Amadi Likla which were screenedat the Indian Panorama, 2007.Anuranan the Bengali debut film ofthis filmmaker won the National Awardfor Best film in 2006. A commercegraduate, Aniruddha has been involvedin film making since 1987. He startedoff directing and designing televisionsoftware and slowly graduated toproducing and directing films.
