He made his debut as asound designer with the award winning Oriya film Nilamasterani.In the last 15 years, Sahoo has designed sound for almost 40feature films and numerous advertisement films, television serialsand documentaries. He has worked with acclaimed directors likeShyam Benegal, Vishal Bharadwaj, Pankaj Parashar, DibakarBanerjee and Sudhir Mishra among others. Some of his recentfilms include Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Basra, ManoramaSix Feet Under and Omkara (National Award, 2006).
