A total <strong>of</strong> 1 399 candidates graduated from the<strong>University</strong>. This is an increase <strong>of</strong> 20.7% over the previous year, reflecting the growth in theFaculties <strong>of</strong> Science, Economics and Management Science, and Law. In terms <strong>of</strong> gender, 33.3% <strong>of</strong>the new graduates were males, while 66.7% were females. This trend <strong>of</strong> female dominance whichhas been noticeable for a number <strong>of</strong> years now, continued in <strong>2007</strong>.17
