the Department's Lon Tinkle Prize for Most Outstanding English Major<br />
in Creative Writing, and his poem Losing Your Page has appeared in the<br />
department's newsletter, Erudition. Winter 2007, Issue 2. He is also an<br />
instructor at The Writer's Garret in Dallas and, in the fall, plans to begin<br />
graduate school.<br />
Melissa Mickael is a senior at <strong>Coe</strong> College who studies art history and<br />
writing. She wants to live in Glocca Morra. Loves zombies, the Ultima<br />
Weapon, and editing with giant red pens. She lives an interesting life, the<br />
best curse she could ask for, really.<br />
Heather Mitchell is a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She<br />
thinks she wants to be a librarian when she graduates from <strong>Coe</strong>, while<br />
working on her writing. Her favorite author is Neil Gaiman.<br />
Letitia L. Moffitt has been published in literary journals including Black<br />
Warrior <strong>Review</strong>, Aux Arc <strong>Review</strong>, Jabberwock <strong>Review</strong>, Fairfield <strong>Review</strong>,<br />
The MacGuffin, and Dos Passos <strong>Review</strong>. Moffitt received a doctoral<br />
degree in English and creative writing from Binghamton University in<br />
New York and currently teaches creative writing as an assistant professor at<br />
Eastern Illinois University.<br />
An Pham is a freshman from Vietnam and she wants to be an engineer<br />
after graduation.<br />
Becca "P" Pfenning is an amazingly wonderful lady who loves her baked<br />
potatoes and bacon, the essentials of a true Revolution. One of her many<br />
favorite sayings is "git 'er done" and she is from Iowa/Nebraska-ish.<br />
Joseph Ponce is a sophomore from Joliet, Illinois famous for one Blues<br />
Brother, a jail, and a casino. Joe is a hack/aspiring new age traveling salesman,<br />
and loves the smell of Play-doh.<br />
Katie Puchalski is a freshman from Chicago, Illinois. She plans on ma<br />
joring in psychology and political science.<br />
Julian Rubin has stories published in The Bitter Oleander, Pangolin<br />
Papers, Nexus, Nuthouse, and online at nycBigCityLit.com. Julia received<br />
her B. A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Islamic and Hebraic studies.<br />
She currently works as a union stagehand on Broadway.
