All participants were invited to submitan essay which should relate to either the writings of ProfessorBeverley Skeggs or to some of the themes or scientific problemsthat we discussed during the workshop.In the end, Thinking with Beverley Skeggs developed intoa collection of nine short contributions, written by scholars/researchers from six different disciplines, all active in the fieldof Gender Studies. Thaïs Machado-Borges discusses cosmetic surgery in Brazil in her article entitled‘The Production of Bodies’.
