She has been instrumental inNakheel’s continued drive to become a global brand, in the organisation’s unrivalled sales success and in itsincreased customer service focus.Manal has also been closely involved with setting up Forsa, a unique investment vehicle for women. Forsa,literally meaning “Opportunity” in Arabic, offers women investors the opportunity to make successful highgrowth investment and supports female entrepreneurs in setting up and managing new ventures. Manal is ViceChairperson of Forsa; she is also Vice Chairperson of Board for Dubai Women Establishment.In 2007 Manal won the Middle East Business woman of the year, awarded by the Middle East Excellence AwardsInstitute. <strong>The</strong> institute’s members are comprised of business leaders, journalists, and academics.40
