Video ProductionStudents in the Electronic Media program gain video production skills through structurededucational experiences and the production of programming created for WVUT-HD.Through the combination of staff and students, WVUT-TV 22 produces more hours oflocal production than most public television stations. This could not be accomplishedwithout staff and students working together to complete daily tasks and goals. Studentsare crew members for a nightly newscast, sports remotes, public affairs programs, andother productions throughout the year.Students have access to high definition studio and field equipment, including twenty-fourAVID editing suites.18
