Media SalesIn sales classes, radio, television, internet, and cable selling techniques are presentedand practiced. The successful Electronic Media/Broadcasting sales student hasa working knowledge of Arbitron and Nielsen rating techniques and uses; local,regional, and national selling differences; and direct and agency selling skills.Students who successfully complete their sales courses will be eligible to take theRadio Marketing Professional exam and become certified by the Radio AdvertisingBureau. Vincennes University Electronic Media/Broadcasting department is the onlyuniversity program in the country partnering with the RAB in this manner.25
