Ignitions SystemsTWIN TEC IGNITION MODULEFOR 1999 THRU 2003CARBURATED TWIN CAMMODELSThe Twin Tec TC88 module offers easy plugininstallation.All the switches are accessiblefrom the top-a significant advantage for mostinstallations. Five rotary switches are used toset the operating modes, adjust the initialtiming and timing advance, and select theRPM limit. Since the TC88 engine uses a nonadjustablecrankshaft position sensor,mechanical timing adjustments are no longerpossible. The TC88 solves this problem witha switch for setting the initial timing.A secondswitch sets the slope of the advance curve.The combination of these two switches letsyou optimize the timing advance for a widerange of applications-from stock to highlymodified engines. An optional PC LinkInterface Cable lets you upload customadvance curves. The TC88 communicatesbasic diagnostic information by blinkingcodes on the check engine LED. Thiseliminates the need for an expensive scantool.
