I wasworking at the Secretarial Section; shortly after Ibecame personal secretary to Mr. Denis Levett.Wai Suk, which was the way everyone called Mr.Levett in Cantonese during our times and evennow is well known to all L&B staff. It was really aclose way to greet him. He mentioned that eachphone call was important to him and he did notwant to miss any opportunity of speaking with aclient or an architect.I reckon that some of the staff had a fear to meethim and talk to him as the Senior Partner of thepractice.
