appendix 4Appendix 4: Details of Scheme ChangesThe new State Pension (Non-Contributory) was introduced in September 2006 replacing the Old Age (Non-Contributory) Pension and, for recipients aged 66 and over, Blind Pension, Widow/er’s Pension, One ParentFamily Payment, Deserted Wife’s Allowance and Prisoner’s Wife’s Allowance.
