<strong>Waggener</strong> Alumni Necrology and Family Obituaries:Sharon Lee TWYMAN Lewis (60)Wilbert Miller Twyman, M.D., 92Wilbert Miller Twyman, M.D. 92, died Wednesday, June 20, at Baptist Hospital East. Dr.Twyman was a graduate of DuPont Manual <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>, University of Louisville and theUniversity of Louisville Medical <strong>School</strong>. He was an Army veteran of World War II, being dischargedas a Lt. Col. Of a MASH unit. He was on staff of St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital for 36 years andserved as president in 1954. Dr. Twyman was also <strong>com</strong>pany physicians for LG&E and other <strong>com</strong>paniesfor many years. He was a member of Christ Church United Methodist, Kilwinning Lodge #586F&AM, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine Temple. Dr. Twyman was a devoted husband, loving fatherand a wonderful ―Pa.‖ He will be missed.He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Norma Cox.Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Lewis and Shelia Acree; one brother, Harry K. Twyman; fivegrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.A funeral service was held Saturday, June 23, at Pearson‘s, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.Memorial gifts may go to the Building Fund of his church.Voice-Tribune 8/13/2003 -Norma Cox Twyman (86) died 8/5/2003 at Norton Suburban Hospital. Surviving: Dr. Wilbert M.Twyman and two daughters: Sharon Twyman (Cobb) (Lewis) WHS'60 and Sheila Tywman (Acree) -five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Park.HENRY JOHN "JACK" LEWIS, IV (77) passed away August 10, 2004 at Baptist Hospital East.Survived by wife: Sharon Twyman Lewis (WHS'60) - a daughter, Linda Patterson - two sons John C.Lewis and Mark E.
