Forward proposals for restructuring the organisational set up <strong>of</strong> the department as and whenrequired.7. Keep watch on the progress <strong>of</strong> action taken against complaints in liaison with the Vigilance Wing.8. Monitor the follow up action in processing <strong>of</strong> police verification report <strong>of</strong> new recruits.9. Arrange induction training to all new recruits.10. Monitor the issue <strong>of</strong> employee identity cards including timely replacement.11. Review the draft programme for training staff in India/abroad and obtain approval from thecompetent authority.12. Prepare a training budget for <strong>PWD</strong> and obtain approval/allotment from competent authority.13. Review and finalise the training calendar for each year in advance and obtain approval from thecompetent authority.14. Coordinate all training programmes for the personnel in the department.15. Review the evaluation report on all training programmes conducted by <strong>PWD</strong> and issue necessaryguidelines/instructions for better performance.16. Evaluate the performance <strong>of</strong> trainers engaged by <strong>PWD</strong> and ensure that competent persons arehandling the training sessions.17. Coordinate with the nodal <strong>of</strong>ficers in each <strong>of</strong>fice and prepare notes for press releases inconsultation with them.18. Interact with personnel in the department to find out and resolve any hurdles that hinder his jobperformance.19. Recommend rewards to employees in appreciation <strong>of</strong> their good performances.20. To organize training / workshops to familiarise new materials / technology/ measures to engineers<strong>of</strong> the departments.204.2.2 Assistant Executive Engineer, Human Resources DevelopmentHe shall assist the Executive Engineer, Human Resources Development & Planning and the specificduties related to this position are detailed below:1. Prepare notes and instructions regarding matters related to personnel management for circulation.2. Maintain the Personnel Information System (PIS) <strong>of</strong> the employees <strong>of</strong> the department.3. Participate in the training programmes provided by the Enquiry Division.4. Prepare schedule for providing induction training to new recruits.5. Make a draft programme for training staff in India/abroad.6. Organise training programmes for all categories <strong>of</strong> personnel in the department.7. Prepare evaluation report on all training programmes conducted by <strong>PWD</strong> after analyzing theevaluation forms.8. Make necessary arrangements to the issue <strong>of</strong> employee identity cards including timelyreplacement.9. Ensure that Management Information System (MIS) is maintained in all districts and the reportsreach the Headquarters on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.10. Carry out the duties and assignment s given by the Executive Engineer, Human ResourcesDevelopment & Planning on a regular basis.204.2.3 Assistant Engineer, Human Resources DevelopmentIn addition to duties as specified in clause section 202.10 he shall assist the Assistant ExecutiveEngineer, Human Resources Development on the specific duties detailed under section 204.2.2204.2.4 Assistant Executive Engineer, Policy GuidelinesHe shall assist the Executive Engineer, HRD & Planning. In addition to duties as specified inclause 202.8, he shall be responsible for the development, monitoring and review <strong>of</strong> <strong>PWD</strong> policies andguidelines, including the Code and <strong>Manual</strong> and all Standards.He shall also be responsible for the following.28
