<strong>FIMS</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>SOA</strong> <strong>Framework</strong> Phase1 (Preliminary)8.2.1.1.1.2.1 BaseProfileTypeThis type represents a profile used by a <strong>FIMS</strong> media service to perform a job on media content For example, itmay represent the profile of a transfer media service for transferring media content, and as such may specifythe media format to be produced in output. The profile provides a mechanism to specify service providerspecificinformation for each operation. The profile can be provided as an ID reference to a document availableto the service provider (using the ID field of the profile) or as URL to a profile document available through thenetwork, or can be embedded as document in this type, using the any type element.8.2.1.1.1.2.1.1 ParametersParameter Type DescriptionId UID The ID of the profile.Any xsd:any An optional choice element for providing theprofile as document embedded in this type.See comment for the ref element.Ref xsd:anyURI An optional URL reference to the profile,which might be used to retrieve the profileobject. This element is a choice: if theprofile document is provided it can beprovided either as a reference or in the anycontainer.8.2.1.1.1.2.2 TimeConstraintsTypeThis type provides the mechanism to describe different ways of starting a service job based on time or externaltrigger information, or completing a job by a deadline. Only one choice of the specified time element can beselected. If a start time is selected, the deadline cannot be selected because it would be difficult for the serviceto accomplish the deadline if not feasible. On the other hand, if a deadline is specified, the service can selectthe most appropriate start time internally to accomplish the deadline, so the start time cannot be specified.8.2.1.1.1.2.2.1 ParametersParameter Type DescriptionstartTime TimePointType This choice element specifies the start timefor a job execution, using theTimePointType.endBy xsd:dateTime A choice element used to specify therequested time for completion of a job.
