Harness Horsesinclude the Cleveland Bayand the Hackney.Thoroughbred: Horses thatare bred for racing. Themodern thoroughbred thatwe know today traces backto the 17th century, whenArabian stallions were bredwith English mares. They arefast runners, and they aregenerally spirited and evenhigh-tempered. The horsehas a long history of beingused by humans for workand for pleasure riding. Eachof the types of horses has itsown unique characteristics,and they are all magnificentanimals.Arabian horsehas that specialplace to its ownerwho preferred it tohimself and to hisdependentsPony: Small-size horsesthat have several uses,such as riding, pulling lightcarriages, entertainment intheaters and entertainmentfor young children.
