As a matterof fact, therefore, no new temples orplaces of spiritual enlightenment are constructednow in the newly constructedcolonies of diffe rent cities. There aresome of the signs of materialistic trend.If I remember rightly, you have beencriticising in the meeting of the 16th instantabout the culture of Holywoodcinemas. The Mayavadi philosophy havingkilled the spiritual variegatedness ofthe Supreme Being-the people are generallyattracted in the variegatedness ofmaterial existence. In the vedanta sutras,we have direct information of how a spiritualentity is joyful-full of spiritual bliss.This idea of enjoyment is focussedthrough a material __ and as such thespiritual focus is reflected in a pervertedmanner. The attention of the people ingeneral is attracted by the cinemas inplace of temples, because the Mayavadiphilosophy-impersonality of Godheadhas created a void in the spiritual realm.But in fact the spiritual realm is not at allvo id . It is fu ll of variegated ness of spiritualmellows. If you create a void in theSpirit unnecessarily, you have to createnecessarily a fill-up in the material existenceand that is the cause why temples arebeing replaced by vulgar cinemas.So simple criticism of cinema houseswill not fulfill the purpose.
