NOVEMBER, 1968 607you is going to his credit in Krishna Consciousness.The more he gives you facility,the more his balance in KrishnaConsciousness. He does not know howhis Krishna Consciousness balance is increasing,but one day will come when youwill see that actually your father is a goodsoul. So you try to win the love and affectionof your father some way or other. Yo uare very intelligent boy and Krishna willalso give you extra intelligence how todeal with your father. But you must treatyour father as respectful as myself; even ifyou are sometimes ill-treated, you shouldtolerate . You should follow the example ofPrahlad Maharaj . His father continuallytortured him in so many ways, but henever protested against his father, but henever agreed with the opinion of his father.That should be your policy also, thatyou will never agree to your father's demoniacprinciples, but still you will try toserve him as faithfully as a nice obedientson. I am sure your father will be responsiveand gradually our mission may besuccessful. I am always praying toKrishna to protect you because I knowpurposefully I have sent you in a fiery conditionof maya. But our philosophy is different.We do not hate maya because weknow maya is also a faithful agent ofKrishna, but her task is very thankless.Our mission is to dovetail everything inthe service of Krishna because everythingbelongs to Krishna. Your father or anyother businessman may think it improperlythat the business belongs to him, andhe is entitled to enjoy the profit, but wethink everything belongs to Krishna, andKrishna is entitled to enjoy the property.That is the version of Bhagavad Gita.When the Lord says, I am the SupremeEnjoyer of all the results of sacrifices,austerities, fruitive actions, etc . Peopletry to be a renouncer of this materialworld, but we do not see the materialworld in that angle of vision. We seeeverything is the product of Krishna'senergy and how everything can be dovetailedfor serving the purpose of Krishna.Please try to follow this principleand always remember the vivid exampleof Arjuna, how he utilized his specialtalent in the matter of warfare to serveKrishna so lovingly. He sacrificed all hisgood sentiments for his kinsmen, but heaccepted the order of Krishna and thus hecame out victorious in the fight. We aretherefore neither renouncer nor enjoyer,we are simply servitor of Krishna. Pleasefollow this principle and you will be neverdisturbed in any frightened condition offeredby the maya.I am glad also to learn that your fatherhas also increased your salary to $100.00per week.
