Moreover, avoid usingtyres of a different brand or type on thefront and on the rear wheel at the sametime. Using tyres different from thosespecified can adversely affect the handlingand stability of the motorcycle,increasing the risk of accidents.• The wheel rims of your motorcycle- 116 -have been designed for use with tubelesstyres only. Do not assemble an airtube tyre on rims designed for tubelesstyres. Otherwise, the tyre bead couldnot properly settle down on the wheelrim, leading to the deflation of the tyreand the loss of control of the vehicle.• Do not assemble an air tube on atubeless tyre. The overheating of thetyre could cause the explosion of the airtube, leading to the deflation of the tyreand the loss of control of the vehicle.• Have the tyres replaced according totheir direction of spin, which is highlightedby a small arrow on the tyre sidewall.• New tyres should be run in for a shortperiod before demanding their fullperformance. In fact, during this periodthe tyres could have a reduced grip onsome kind of roads. We suggest to rideat reduced speed and exercise extremecaution during the first 100 km after thereplacement of a tyre.
