VX Series Overview With an expanded range of enclosures and transducer compliments, the new VX Series combines next-generation Dual Concentric driver technology with smart, ergonomic, portable and install-friendly new cabinet designs, enhanced build quality, and carefully thought-out functionality. Description With 10 passive models in the range, each with the Tannoy’s acclaimed Dual Concentric point-source driver at their heart, VX delivers class-leading acoustic performance in an aesthetically refined and robust plywood enclosure. Among the new driver compliments, are 12" and 15" models debuting Tannoy’s innovative Q-Centric Waveguide (QCW) delivering enhanced pattern control, as well as twin driver models for enhanced LF performance and versatility. The brand new cabinet design features double-chamfered edges, with innovative new Integrip handles ergonomically integrated into all but the two smallest enclosures, making one-hand or two-handed lifting of even the largest models easy. Description VX Series Thanks to the asymmetric cabinet profile of the larger VX (and VXP) enclosures, the 12" and 15" devices can be used as floor monitor wedges, oriented at a variety of angles to suit the performance parameters. All devices have removable plate on underside to reveal pole mount option – making it a serious performer for situations such as portable House of Worship PA or live DJ performance monitoring. This includes a yoke bracket and omni-mount for wall and ceiling location as well as eyebolt location points and a VTH top-hat for pole-mounting. All hardware has been tested and certifiedby K&M to guarantee greater than 10:1 safety ratio – giving installers complete peace of mind. All VX Series models are available in black or white textured paint finish as standard, with matchin ggrilles, and is also available in custom matched RAL colours as an option. A weather proof specification (WP) is also available as an option. Thus includes LINE-X cabinet outer-coating, internal prism sealing and treated transducers with perforated Grade 316 Stainless Steel grilles. All steel hardware is upgraded to Grade 304 SS, while all connector panel points are protected by a cover plate and weather-proof cable gland.
