GREAT SOUTHERN FOR SALESevere health reasons have forced me to decide I’ll have to leave the hobby. Therefore, even though it hurts, Ihave to be realistic. The entire contents of the layout are for sale as well as heavy and light tools. A list is an impossibility- there are literally hundreds of thousands of parts, decals, scenery items, structures, figures, vehiclesand detail pieces, common electrical parts, rolling stock, etc. with all built up items being well built and realisticallyweathered. Many of the items are already on the layout and others are in storage in new condition.The only reasonable way to sell these items is in large lots; for example, the layout has over 20,000 trees from 2”high to 14” high. An order for 5 trees would be unfeasible, whereas 500 trees is feasible. Built structures rangefrom very small to four feet tall weighing over 250 pounds. Packing and shipping of many items would be exorbitantand thus will require buyer pickup. Some of the structures will require sawing out of the layout. Pleasedon’t write or call asking about single items. I just don’t feel well enough to go looking through hundreds of partsdrawers. Almost all of the items are the best make in their category, plus many are scratchbuilt by experts andMMRs, if not by myself. Std and NG items are both available.Most imported brass locos are being sold through : Bruce Blalock, texspl@austin.RR.com, and I’ll be selling Lobaugh, Kemtron and less well known makes.
