Dear Reader,
2007 is drawing to a close, and it has been a successful year for HANSA-FLEX. New branches both at home
and abroad have been added to what is already a dense network. We only recently opened our 300th branch
of the company, guaranteeing even greater proximity to the customer. And with FLEXXPRESS we are quickly
on hand to help wherever there are urgent problems with hydraulics.
Our customers tell us time and time again that besides such proximity and our strong focus on service, it is
above all the outstanding commitment shown by all HANSA-FLEX staff that strengthens the reputation of
our company as a system partner for hydraulics. Our clientele acknowledge such customer orientation by
placing new orders and endowing us with increasing responsibility. Responsibility we are happy to take on
as customer proximity is our guiding principle.
A growth rate of more than 15 percent in 2007 speaks for itself. We are making every eff ort to safeguard such
growth through development of the company. This also includes extending our product range. One new article
in our programme is HANSA-FLEX moulded hoses, which we not only stock in many diff erent sizes but can
also be manufactured according to customer specifi cations. You can fi nd out more on page 12 of this issue.
We continue to do everything possible to make sure that all customers are fully satisfi ed with the support
they receive. Whether extracting potash in Thuringia, at a diamond mine in South Africa or mining oil sand
at an open pit in Canada. Whether quickly sending out a replacement hose line or off ering support to OEMs
with fi nished subassemblies ready for installation directly on site.
With our customer Terex Mining we are even going a step further. On page 6 we describe a tailor-made
solution and show how HANSA-FLEX can off er effi cient help to its OEM customers directly at their works
with the prompt manufacture of hose lines or curved pipes and a good stock of parts. HANSA-FLEX develops
such service packages carefully tailored to the requirements of each customer in close cooperation with the
company concerned to help them cut costs and also boost productivity and added value.
As 2007 moves into 2008, we should like to thank our staff for their hard work and commitment giving new
impetus to customer proximity. We also thank our customers for the trust they have put in our company. We
wish you all health and success in the coming year.
