A H A L A H = I M E A H The measurement range is the lenght of thedisplacer.The displacer must be designed for thepressure rating of the vessel - however, at leastto the operating pressure - and orderedaccordingly. Here the maximum possibletemperature must be taken into consideration.Displacers made of PTFE are made from solidmaterial, and are, therefore, suitable for allpressures (Note the maximum temperature ofPTFE).Displacers with a length of more than 3 m(1 m with PTFE) are divided. The sections arescrewed together and secured, or they areattached together with spring clamps.If the transmitter is exposed to external vibrationsby means of the installation, it is recommendedto order the displacer with a dampingspring which is attached to the suspensionchain.This spring is specially matched to the resonancefrequency of the displacer and is made ofstainless steel or HC.When using a displacer chamber the gap betweendisplacer and cage should not be lessthan 10 mm (~½ inch).Displacer data setting via FDT-DTM16
