Thereis a plan for boring Katunje.5.5.1 Possible solutions to decrease water scarcityWatershed services are often considered as a public good, meaning that, nobody can berefused to use them even if they do not contribute to its conservation. Thus watershedservices are facing “tragedy of commons”. For the conservation of the watershed servicesgood management practices are essential.To implement good management practices in MKW, questions on expected support andchoice of institutions for crucial enforcement were asked to both upstream anddownstream communities.35
