Dramalogue Critics Award for his performance in “F.O.B.” <strong>at</strong> East West Players and also starred in th<strong>at</strong><br />

company’s production <strong>of</strong> “Carry <strong>the</strong> Tiger to <strong>the</strong> Mountain.”<br />

It’s been a busy year for VANESSA BRANCH (Giselle). After<br />

completing her fourth consecutive year as <strong>the</strong> campaign spokesperson for<br />

Wrigley’s Orbit Gum, she flew to <strong>the</strong> Caribbean to reprise her role as<br />

Giselle, one <strong>of</strong> Captain Jack Sparrow’s favorite wenches, in PIRATES OF<br />

THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END. Then, it was <strong>of</strong>f to Kansas City,<br />

Missouri, to shoot <strong>the</strong> fe<strong>at</strong>ure film “All Roads Lead to Home” opposite<br />

Peter Coyote and Jason London. She was <strong>the</strong>n cast as <strong>the</strong> supporting lead<br />

in <strong>the</strong> fe<strong>at</strong>ure film “Suburban Girl” opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar and<br />

Alec Baldwin as a sexy British book publisher.<br />

In addition to her busy fe<strong>at</strong>ure schedule, Branch had a recurring role<br />

on <strong>the</strong> hit television series “The Gilmore Girls” and has appeared on<br />

television in numerous guest-starring roles in “Monk,” “Lost,”<br />

“Entourage” and “Andy Barker P.I.”<br />

In 2007, Branch will be bringing back <strong>the</strong> now-famous phrase “Fabulous, No M<strong>at</strong>ter Wh<strong>at</strong>” for a fifth year<br />

as <strong>the</strong> spokesperson for Orbit Gum. She also just returned from China where she completed her l<strong>at</strong>est fe<strong>at</strong>ure<br />

film, “Milk and Fashion,” in which she played <strong>the</strong> starring role. The film was shot entirely in Mandarin.<br />

Branch was raised in England and <strong>the</strong> United St<strong>at</strong>es and <strong>at</strong>t<strong>end</strong>ed Middlebury College, where she<br />

majored in <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re and Chinese. She developed a fascin<strong>at</strong>ion with languages and set her sights on French<br />

and Mandarin, both <strong>of</strong> which she now speaks fluently. She currently resides in Los Angeles.<br />

LAUREN MAHER (Scarlett) has established herself as a vers<strong>at</strong>ile<br />

actor in <strong>the</strong> entertainment industry with a varied body <strong>of</strong> work in film,<br />

television and <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re.<br />

In addition to her three appearances as Scarlett in <strong>the</strong> “<strong>Pir<strong>at</strong>es</strong>” trilogy,<br />

Maher’s o<strong>the</strong>r work in film includes P<strong>at</strong> O’Neill’s festival favorite “Decay<br />

<strong>of</strong> Fiction,” Lee Friedlander’s award-winning romantic comedy “Girl<br />

Play,” and “Mind Forest.” She has also starred in numerous short films,<br />

including “Solo Act,” “Century Game” and “Seafood Heaven.” Maher’s<br />

l<strong>at</strong>est project is a supporting role in <strong>the</strong> horror film “33 Griffin Lane.”<br />

Maher has acted on <strong>the</strong> stage in New York, London and Los Angeles.<br />

Her work includes roles in “Romeo and Juliet,” “Hamlet,” “The Gre<strong>at</strong><br />

White Hope” and Tony Kushner’s “The Illusion.” From 2000-2005, Maher<br />

served as a co-artistic director and producer for WolfPack Production Company, a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re<br />

company based in Los Angeles. During this time, she helped to produce numerous Shakespearean plays, as<br />

well as works by Sam Shepard and <strong>the</strong> Firesign The<strong>at</strong>re. Currently, she performs regularly with <strong>the</strong> Lonestar<br />

Ensemble. She has most recently been seen on <strong>the</strong> stage in “Teechers,” co-starring James Marsters.<br />

In her spare time, Maher is passion<strong>at</strong>e about traveling, music, art, yoga and medit<strong>at</strong>ion. She is a<br />

certified yoga instructor and yoga <strong>the</strong>rapist and has specialized in teaching yoga to cancer p<strong>at</strong>ients during<br />

and post tre<strong>at</strong>ment.<br />

Maher received her degree in <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re arts from Marymount Manh<strong>at</strong>tan College in New York City. She<br />

has also studied <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re <strong>at</strong> <strong>the</strong> Lee Strasbeg The<strong>at</strong>re Institute in New York City as well as Richmond<br />

College in London.<br />
