and/or supervisor on more than 60 films and has been honored with Academy Award ® nomin<strong>at</strong>ions for<br />
“Twister,” “Armageddon,” “The Perfect Storm,” “Pearl Harbor” and “Spider-Man,” before finally winning<br />
in 2005 for “Spider-Man 2.” He was nomin<strong>at</strong>ed once again in 2006 for his work on “Poseidon.”<br />
Frazier also won a British Academy <strong>of</strong> Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award for “The Perfect<br />
Storm” and “Twister.” Additionally, he received two Clio Awards for his work in TV commercials. He<br />
currently resides in Sou<strong>the</strong>rn California.<br />
ALLEN HALL (Special Effects Supervisor) shared <strong>the</strong> 2006 Academy Award ® for his work on<br />
“<strong>Pir<strong>at</strong>es</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” with colleagues John Knoll, Charles Gibson and Hal<br />
Hickel. Hall also won an Oscar ® for his groundbreaking work on Robert Zemeckis’ “Forrest Gump” and<br />
was nomin<strong>at</strong>ed for Ron Howard’s “Backdraft” and Ron Underwood’s “Mighty Joe Young.” “Forrest<br />
Gump” also won Hall a British Academy <strong>of</strong> Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award, with “Backdraft”<br />
receiving a nomin<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
Hall’s numerous credits as special effects coordin<strong>at</strong>or or supervisor have included such notable films<br />
as “Popeye,” “Top Gun,” “The Untouchables,” “Scrooged,” “Dead Poets Society,” “Avalon,” “For <strong>the</strong><br />
Boys,” “Cutthro<strong>at</strong> Island,” “The Long Kiss Goodnight,” “Contact,” “Babe: Pig in <strong>the</strong> City,” “U-571,” “Dr.<br />
Seuss’ How <strong>the</strong> Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Road to Perdition,” “Termin<strong>at</strong>or 3: Rise <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Machines,”<br />
“Constantine” and “Elizabethtown.”<br />
GEORGE MARSHALL RUGE (Stunt Coordin<strong>at</strong>or) returns following his thrilling work on both<br />
“<strong>Pir<strong>at</strong>es</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Caribbean: The Curse <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Black Pearl,” which won him an American Choreography<br />
Award, and “<strong>Pir<strong>at</strong>es</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” for which he is a current nominee for <strong>the</strong><br />
Taurus World Stunt Awards as Best Second Unit Director and Best Stunt Coordin<strong>at</strong>or. Ruge was <strong>the</strong> Stunt<br />
Coordin<strong>at</strong>or/Action Designer on Peter Jackson’s “The Lord <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Rings” trilogy, which included some <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> most ambitious and complex action sequences in motion-picture history. He was also Stunt<br />
Coordin<strong>at</strong>or and Second Unit Director on Jerry Bruckheimer’s production <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> action hit “N<strong>at</strong>ional<br />
Treasure” and performs <strong>the</strong> same tasks on “N<strong>at</strong>ional Treasure: Book <strong>of</strong> Secrets.”<br />
Born in San Francisco, Ruge studied <strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re arts and acting while working as an actor in Bay Area<br />
<strong>the</strong><strong>at</strong>re, film and television productions, he also directed plays for The L<strong>of</strong>t The<strong>at</strong>re Group, <strong>of</strong> which he<br />
is a founding member. The company produced several original plays while Ruge was in residence.<br />
Ruge <strong>the</strong>n turned his <strong>at</strong>tention to film and reloc<strong>at</strong>ed to Los Angeles to pursue those interests. Since<br />
th<strong>at</strong> time, Ruge has performed in numerous fe<strong>at</strong>ure-film productions, among <strong>the</strong>m “Come See <strong>the</strong><br />
Paradise,” “L.A. Story,” “The Doors,” “The Mask <strong>of</strong> Zorro,” “Chaplin,” “Barfly,” “Mars Attacks!,”<br />
“George <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Jungle,” “Conspiracy Theory,” “City <strong>of</strong> Angels,” “Bulworth,” “Lethal Weapon 4,”<br />
“Swordfish,” “G<strong>at</strong>taca,” and “The Limey,” among many o<strong>the</strong>rs. He has portrayed longtime hero Basil<br />
R<strong>at</strong>hbone in <strong>the</strong> biographical telefilm chronicling Errol Flynn’s life, “My Wicked, Wicked Ways.” Ruge<br />
also dueled with Peter O’Toole in “My Favorite Year,” playing <strong>the</strong> role <strong>of</strong> Lord Drummond opposite<br />
O’Toole’s Robin Hood characteriz<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
On television, Ruge has guest-starred in numerous telefilms and episodes <strong>of</strong> such series as “Knots<br />
Landing,” “Wizards and Warriors,” “Quantum Leap,” “Tour <strong>of</strong> Duty,” “Renegade,” “SeaQuest DSV,”<br />
“Walker, Texas Ranger,” “V.I.P.,” “Chicago Hope,” “Columbo,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” “Murder She<br />
Wrote,” “The Enemy Within” and “Nash Bridges.”<br />
Ruge was <strong>the</strong> recipient <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Bank <strong>of</strong> America Drama Award for Acting and <strong>the</strong> Drama Circle Critics<br />
Award for Best Actor in a dram<strong>at</strong>ic play and garnered a Stuntman’s Award for Best Fight Sequence in a<br />
Motion Picture. Ruge has served two elected terms, in 1996 and in 2000, as President <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Stuntman’s<br />
Associ<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> Motion Pictures before leaving th<strong>at</strong> organiz<strong>at</strong>ion to pursue o<strong>the</strong>r cre<strong>at</strong>ive interests,<br />
including <strong>the</strong> form<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> his own indep<strong>end</strong>ent film production company, Rolling Fog Productions,<br />
which currently has one film in production and several o<strong>the</strong>rs in development.<br />
Ruge is a published poet and has written several screenplays.<br />
