FIM2015 is the largest annual franchising exhibition and conference
in Southeast Asia and the only franchise event officially sanctioned
by the by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives and
Consumerisms (MDTCC) and Malaysian Franchise Association
(MFA).
This year is the 22nd Franchise International Malaysia that will be
held in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur from 12th
- 14th June 2015. This event assembles main players in the
franchise sectors from all around the world to showcase their
franchise systems and products as well as to discuss current
franchise issues and focus on franchise as a key strategy in developing
entrepreneurship and business expansion in Malaysia, especially
in retail and service sectors.
Apart from exhibitions, FIM2015 will also organize an International
Conference. FIM2015 International Conference is an
annual activities in the Franchise International Malaysia and
included in world franchise calendar as well as recognized by
World Franchise Council (WFC) and Asia Pacific Franchise
Confederation (APFC). The objective of FIM International
Conference is to pull together all local franchise players and
international experts from various parts of the world for the
purpose of sharing valuable knowledge as well as experiences
with conferences, participants in franchise development and
business directions. The areas covered are International
expansion, disputes resolutions, the current issues regarding
franchise businesses, franchise opportunities, franchisor –
franchisee relationships, franchise agreement, financial
support and etc.
The theme “Leap Beyond the Limits’ is in line with the Malaysian
Government‘s effort to develop local franchise industry towards
national agenda to become a high-income nation status by 2020.
FIM2015 will showcase 110 booths comprises of local franchisors
and master franchisees. International franchise/license brands
from USA, Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and
Philippine in FIM2015.
The exhibition is an all-in-one franchise solution centre that you can
find franchisors, master franchisees, consultants, legal firms,
government agencies, financial bodies, property developers as
well as media partners gathering under one roof providing the best
one-stop service to those intending to jump into the bandwagon of
franchising. It will prove to you that FIM is the best avenue to develop
successful businesses because it offers ready-made solutions.
Other than that, FIM2015 International Conference shall bring
across various issues and case studies on the franchise industry
in Malaysia as well as in the ASEAN Economy Community
(AEC) in a 1-Day event. The international conference will focus
on 2015 global expansion plan, in line with FIM’s theme for
2015, “Leap beyond the Limits”. FIM2015 International Conference
will have a special appearance by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dr. Mohd
Irwan Serigar Abdullah, Secretary General Of Treasury, Ministry
Of Finance with a special keynote address entitled "Ensuring
Prosperous & Competitive Service Sector – Strategies &
Tactics ”.
Besides exhibition and international conference, will also present
several activities which are Business Matching, Coffees
Barista Challenge by Gloria Jean's Coffees, Young Chefs Academy
Competition and many more.
FIM 2015 is expected to attract more than 11,000 visitors comprises
of aspiring franchisees, business owners, investors and
Government agencies. This year FIM2015 expected to get
RM370 million potential business transactions for 3 days event.
