Our dedicationto our role as environmental visionariesis what inspires a variety of park-wideinitiatives as we strive to give back to thecommunity and give our children a betterfuture.We fully support the continuing efforts ofthe Ocean Park Conservation Foundation,Hong Kong (OPCFHK) in funding scientificresearch to better the cause of wildlifepreservation and also Ocean Park Academy,Hong Kong (OPAHK) to offer fun-filledprogrammes on nature and wildlife forlearners of all ages. Our commitment toshare the stories of our many animal friendshereat Ocean Park is what makes us unique inAsia as we have integrated their lessons tothe world into our overall park experience.In addition, being Hong Kong’s People’sPark, we support the development ofan inclusive society by offering a rangeof social initiatives, such as providingfree or concessionary admissions, to theunderprivileged. We want everyone inHong Kong regardless of socio-economiccircumstances to experience the joy thatcomes from connecting with naturethrough our attractions here at OceanPark.As previously mentioned, OceanPark in 2007/2008 can be bestdescribed as the “Year of thePanda” since it was the first fullyear in which two young pandas YingYing and Le Le – precious gifts fromthe Central People’s Government –were placed under our watchful eye.Under our care, the pair experiencedmany firsts and took part in anarray of fun events together with the
