With a global financial crisislooming on the horizon, socio-economicripples will be felt around the world. Thiswill definitely affect travel and tourismmarkets in nearly every region as consumersand companies begin to pull back ondiscretionary spending. Still, the growth ofChina’s economy is expected to continue,albeit at a slower pace. Having said that, weare watching the developments around usclosely. So far, there is no indication thatour business has been hit directly, but weare prepared for the potential downwardtrend related to the global impact of thiseconomic crisis.Having witnessed the success of the Beijing2008 Olympic Games, we look forwardto the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Gamesin December 2009, which hopefully, willbring new impetus to furthering the Asiansports tourism industry.
