This system has <strong>the</strong> greatest f lexibility, butit is also <strong>the</strong> most abstract. Stores staff do not need anytechnical knowledge <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> products to manage this systembecause <strong>the</strong> codes contain <strong>the</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation needed <strong>for</strong> storingproducts properly, such as temperature requirements, level<strong>of</strong> security, <strong>and</strong> f lammability. This system works well incomputerized inventory control systems.21
