Plan <strong>the</strong> medical store with staging areas <strong>for</strong> preparingshipments (issuing) <strong>and</strong> unloading deliveries (receiving).Separate <strong>the</strong> receiving <strong>and</strong> shipping areas to avoid confusion<strong>and</strong> to enhance efficiency <strong>and</strong> security.If a facility will be repackaging products, plan a separateclean preparation area to conduct <strong>the</strong> repackaging.
