Marketing Dept. After two years of this, he went back to the Marketing Dept. In 1983, Raymond was selected
as one of the employees to go to American Bell even though he had wanted to stay with Southwestern Bell. This
was the breakup of AT&T and the Bell Systems. Raymond continued to work in Marketing until 1989, when he
got a job in the Network Services Dept. He continued to work in this area until 1993, when the took a job
working with International services, providing satellite and cable private line service to the Latin America
Countries
Raymond retired in June 1998 from AT&T and he and Fern are living in San Antonio, Texas. Raymond stays
active working as an Usher at the AT&T Center (where the SA Spurs play), playing tennis and working around
the house
