Hinrich & Gesche Ohlenbusch Family Sweetwater, Nolan Co., TX., formed by the Peace and Calvary Lutheran churches. In 1963, Henry and Anna made the decision to retire and move off the farm. They purchased a home at 806 Bowie, in Sweetwater, Nolan Co., Texas. One of the attractions to this place was that the house was so nearly the same style and arrangement as their farm home. The large garden plot and fruit trees made it seem like a "mini-farm." Henry enjoyed life here to the very end, when he died on a Saturday evening, April 22, 1972, while mowing grass in the back yard. Anna lived alone in Sweetwater until 1978, when she moved to Brooksmith near Brownwood to live with her son, Harry. Anna enjoyed being with and living with her family until she died, February 24, 1985.
