Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church for Hubert Burell, 91, of Uvalde.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Burell died Jan. 16, 2004, at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1912, in Uvalde to Albert and Ana Mussman Burell. They preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ella Burell.
He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Evans and husband, Ron, of New Braunfels; two sons, Marcus Burell and
wife, Barbara, of Uvalde, and Delton Burell and wife, Laura, of Houston; two brothers, Hugo Burell of Gonzales
and Arthur Henry Burell of Marion; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers for the service will be Cody Burell, Ted Burell, Hubert Burell and Jason Addington.
Arrangements by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
