LIFEMAR 2011ITE CW KARTING &MOTORSPORTS CLUBStudents from ITE College West will now get a chance to learn about the various aspects <strong>of</strong>motorsports through the “Racing Team Technical Training Course”,the first <strong>of</strong> its kind in Singapore.With Singapore hosting the first Formula 1 nightrace, and the completion <strong>of</strong> Changi MotorsportsHub, interest in motorsports in Singapore has beenevolving rapidly. Crowds enjoy the fast speeds <strong>of</strong> suchraces and the detail and technology invested in suchFormula 1 machines.However what goes on behind every motorsportsevent, from the planning, to the logistics, to theoperation <strong>of</strong> the race team, is something that mostpeople would be interested in finding out.Not every layman will get a chance to experience themotor sports event and much to the conjecture is<strong>of</strong>ten misconstrued. ITE College West will now set thisright by teaming with Kartmaster to conduct a “RacingTeam Technical Training Course” for ITE students. Thiscourse will help would-be motor sports aspirants togain a foothold into this glamorous sport.The course will be conducted by a renowned instructor,Mr Roland Chong.
