IPCSA COMMITTEE REPORTSMARK YOUR CALENDARS:Friday, June 21, 20132nd Annual Committee Appreciation/Committee MeetingDay CookoutRESOURCE COMMITTEE REPORTIPCSA members had the opportunity to meet with 23 vendors who exhibited at the Fall Conference inRockford in October. We had two new time vendors and 21 vendors who have shown their support forIPCSA by exhibiting at past conferences. Thirteen of the vendors traveled from out of state to exhibit at theconference.We are fortunate to have vendor exhibits that represented a wide range of probation-related services andproducts for the conference participants to learn about. Conference participants were afforded an opportunityto interact with the vendors before and after the training sessions, as well as, at the Wednesday eveningreception.We would like to acknowledge and thank the following vendors for their contributions and/or donations to theconference:Goodin & Associates and Alcohol Monitors of IL/SCRAM sponsored the bags tournament withcomplimentary beverages on Wednesday evening. Everyone who participated had lots of fun along withsome friendly competition! This was the fifth bags contest sponsored by Alcohol Monitors of IL/SCRAMand Goodin & Associates and it continues to be well received by everyone.Rosecrance Health Network once again recognized each new IPCSA member with a hand made goodiebasket at the Wednesday evening New Member Reception. Rosecrance has graciously acknowledged theAssociation’s new members at conferences for many years.Arrowhead Ranch, BI Incorporated, Chestnut Health Systems, and Siemens Healthcare Diagnosticseach paid $150 to sponsor a conference break for all of the conference attendees.Several vendors donated some great raffle prizes for the lucky IPCSA members who won! ArrowheadRanch donated a fall gift basket; Goodin Associates donated 4 12 packs of New Glarus beer and a balloonbouquet, Great Lake Labs donated a spooky Halloween candy dish and; Lad Lakes donated golf shirtOur vendors represent some of the latest technology and services in the field of Probation and Court Servicesand they help generate revenue for the Association that makes it possible to bring quality trainings to theconference participants. The Resource Committee encourages the IPCSA membership to considersupporting our vendors by using their services when needed and appropriate.
