44臺 中 區 農 業 改 良 場 研 究 彙 報 第 四 十 四 期Effect of <strong>GA</strong> 3 and <strong>Fulmet</strong> on InflorescenceDevelopment in Black Queen Grapevines 1Chih-Sheng Chang 2 and Yau-Shiang Yang 3ABSTRACTThe inflorescence development of Black Queen (Vitis vinifera L.×Vitis labruscanaBailey) grapevine was investigated after inflorescence treated with various concentration<strong>GA</strong> 3 and <strong>Fulmet</strong> at the 4th leafing stage.The results showed that the inflorescence elongation could be enhanced by <strong>GA</strong> 3treatment. <strong>Fulmet</strong> promoted the size of the floret and ovary. Under the sameconcentration treatment of <strong>GA</strong> 3 , the inflorescence length, fresh weight of floret andovary of the second harvest were lower than that of the first harvest.Based on the result, the suggested optimum concentration for <strong>GA</strong> 3 treatment was10~25 ppm, combined with <strong>Fulmet</strong> at 5~10 ppm.Key words: grapevine, <strong>GA</strong> 3 , <strong>Fulmet</strong>, inflorescence development.1 Contribution No. 0351 from Taichung DAIS.2 Assitant, Taichung Distric Agricultural Improvement Station .3 Professor, Department of Horticulture, National Chung Hsing University.
