Breiðdalssetur<br />
Breiddalssetur is a research and knowledge center divided into three<br />
main divisions, Geology Museum based on the works of Dr G.P.L<br />
Walker who worked exstensivly in the Breiðdalur area and the ancient<br />
Breiðdalur volcano. A section on Linguistics based on the works of<br />
Dr Stefán Einarsson from Höskuldsstaðir in Breiddalur, who’s research<br />
on the <strong>Iceland</strong>ic language are of great value, and thirdly the historical<br />
community of Breiddalur through the history of the Gamla Kaupfélagið<br />
(old trade center).<br />
