At the graduate level, the program focuses on the Advanced Competencies.
The Advanced Competencies are: Critical Thinking, Synthesis
of Information, Problem Solving, Ethical Decision Making, and Data
Analysis and Interpretation.

Service Learning
The concept of service is integral to the Civic Arts tradition at Tusculum
College. In the Graduate and Professional Studies program, this
is evidenced through the inclusion of community service in both undergraduate
and graduate levels through projects and events shared
by students, faculty, and staff. Because most adult students have already
established interests in civic activities, this base provides a building
block for increased emphasis on the importance of the citizen’s
role in our democracy.
