TUSCULUM COLLEGE 2004-2005<br />

Jersey, in response to the Tusculum College 2000 Campaign. Scholarship<br />

preference will be given to able and deserving pre-medical majors<br />

and then to other science majors.<br />

THE FRANCES COMERFORD LADY MEMORIAL ENDOWED<br />

SCHOLARSHIP FUND was established in 1983 by William C. Lady,<br />

class of 1949, of Blountville, Tennessee, in memory of his wife, Frances<br />

Comerford Lady, class of 1948. Scholarship preference will be given to<br />

able and deserving students on the basis of academic achievement,<br />

leadership ability, and financial need.<br />

THE LANTERI FAMILY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND was established<br />

in 1997 by Dr. Vincent J. Lanteri, class of 1970, and his wife<br />

Susan. Scholarship preference will be given to able and deserving premedical<br />

students and then to other science majors.<br />

THE ROBERT A. LAPSLEY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND was<br />

established in 1998 by Robert A. Lapsley, class of 1966, and his wife,<br />

Diane, of Savannah, Georgia, in response to the Tusculum College 2000<br />

Campaign. Scholarship preference will be given to able and deserving<br />

students from Georgia.<br />

THE RALPH AND JEWELL SMITH LINFOOT SCHOLARSHIP was<br />

established in 1976 by Jewell Smith Linfoot in memory of her husband<br />

Ralph. Scholarship preference is given to able and deserving students<br />

from East Tennessee.<br />

THE JILL LUCAS MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND<br />

was established in 2001 by family and friends in memory of Christina<br />

Jill Lucas, class of 2002, of Gaston, Indiana. Scholarship preference will<br />

be given to members of the Tusculum College Volleyball Team.<br />

THE GIRARD MALMAR ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND was<br />

established in 1951 by Helen Malmar Dresser, class of 1916, of Albany,<br />

New York, in memory of her brother. Scholarship preference will be<br />

given to an able and deserving student-athlete who exhibits the<br />

finest spirit of sportsmanship on the athletic field.<br />

THE HORACE C. MARTIN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND was<br />

established in 1986 by Dr. Horace C. “Whitey” Martin, class of 1931, of<br />

Winona, Mississippi. Scholarship preference will be given to able and<br />

deserving students from East Tennessee or from the French Camp Academy,<br />

French Camp, Mississippi.<br />

THE C. SHAWN MAUK MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />

FUND was established in 1997 by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes<br />
