the voice auction will be on Sunday. Buyers will be able to
pick-up and pay for their artwork late Sunday afternoon or on
Monday morning.
We expect to be open late on Friday, the evening of the
Chesley art award ceremony sponsored by ASFA, when we will
host a joint reception for all artists, their agents, the Anticipation
staff, guests and members.
The art show will also host art-related activities which will be
coordinated by Programming. Artist demos are demonstrations
of an art technique. Artist kaffeeklatche are an opportunity for
fans of a particular artist to meet with them for one hour. Docent
tours are guided tours of the art show. Artists are encouraged to
volunteer as programme participants at the Anticipation e-mail
address.
The complete rules for artists and a reservation form are
now available on our website in PDF format. We have e-mailed
an invitation to artists on the mailing lists from the last several
Worldcons. If you believe that you may not be on one of those
lists or have moved in the last few years, please send your
contact information via e-mail to artshow@anticipationsf.ca.

organisons ce soir-là une réception pour tous les artistes, leurs
agents, le personnel d’Anticipation, les invités et les membres.
La galerie d’art sera aussi le lieu de certaines activitées reliées
aux arts, coordonnées par le comité de programmation. Les
démos d’artistes sont des démonstrations de techniques d’art.
Les kaffeeklatche d’artistes sont une occasion pour les fans de
rencontrer les artistes pendant une heure. Il y aura des tours
guidés de la galerie d’art. Nous encourageons les artistes à se
porter volontaires en écrivant au comité de programmation.
Le règlement complet pour les artistes ainsi qu’un formulaire
de réservation sont maintenant disponibles en format PDf sur
notre site web. Nous enverrons également une invitation aux
artistes des listes d’envoi des plus récentes Worldcons. Si vous ne
pensez pas être sur une de ces listes, ou si vous avez déménagé
récemment, veuillez nous envoyer vos coordonnées par courriel à
artshow@anticipationsf.ca.

Anticipation will be administering the site selection
for the host destination of the 2010 NASFiC and
the 2011 Worldcon. Mail-in ballots are provided
for those who cannot attend and may also be handcarried
to the convention. Article 4 of the WSFS
Constitution has more details on the voting process
and the eligibility of voters. Voting at Anticipation
will run until 19:00 EDT on Saturday, August 8th,
2009.
Please do note that the NASFiC and Worldcon
Site Selections are completely separate elections.
Voting in one does not have any effect on the
other, either in terms of voting tallies or resulting
supporting memberships.
