Consuite
The consuite is the social center of a Worldcon.
Anticipation’s consuite, located on the 5th floor of the
Delta Hotel, offers a place to hang out, relax, grab a
snack, and fraternize with other Anticipation members, a
great place to meet old and new friends. You just never
know who you might run into. Treats, snacks, soft drinks
and conversation will be available and more substantial
fare will be served at different times. Drop by in the
morning for coffee and Montreal Style bagels.
Anticipation’s consuite, or at least parts of it, will be
open 24 hours during the convention. So come on in
whenever the spirit grabs you.
We are still looking for a few good volunteers to
help out in the consuite. Volunteering in the consuite
is a great way to meet people and we can work with
your schedule so you won’t miss any of the fun of the
convention. If you are willing to work a two or four
hour shift, please come on by during the con, sign up at
volunteers, or email hospitality@anticipationsf.ca before
the con and put “Consuite Volunteer” in the subject line.

Handicapped Access
We have been contacting scooter rental agencies (or, as
they are known in Quebec, triporteur or quadriporteur,
depending on the number of wheels) because our usual
vendor does not offer scooter rental in Montreal. We
would like to give them a rough estimate of how many
we will need, so if you think you may need one, please
drop us a line (access@anticipationsf.ca) with your
needs: triporteur, heavy duty triporteur, wheelchair,
motorized wheelchair, etc. If this need would be
dependent on affordability, let us know that, too. We
already have requests from six attendees, but suspect

Cantine de l’espace
La cantine d’Anticipation, située au 5e étage de l’Hotel
Delta, offre un point pour se tenir, relaxer, manger une
bouchée et fraterniser avec les autres membres du congrès,
un superbe endroit pour rencontrer des amis, anciens et
nouveaux. On ne sait jamais qui on pourrait y voir. Des
friandises, goûters, boissons douces et conversations y
seront disponibles, de même que des nourritures plus
substantielles à certaines heures. Passez-y le matin pour un
café et un bon bagel montréalais.
La cantine d’Anticipation, ou au moins certaines de ses
composantes, sera ouverte 24 heures par jour durant le
congrès. Alors venez-y dès que l’envie vous prend.
Nous recherchons encore que bons volontaires pour
aider au service. Ce poste représente une excellente
opportunité de rencontrer des gens, et nous pouvons
accommoder votre horaire de façon à ce que vous ne
manquiez rien des choses qui vous intéressent. Si vous voulez
travailler des quarts de deux ou quatre heures durant le
congrès, venez nous voir sur place ou inscrivez-vous en vous
présentant au bureau des volontaires du congrès, ou encore
envoyez-nous un courriel à hospitalite@anticipationsf.ca
avant l’évènement et inscrivez « Volontaire Cantine » dans la
case du sujet. Inscrivez-vous maintenant pour bénéficier des
meilleures opportunités durant le congrès.
Accès aux handicapés
Nous avons contacté des agences de location de triporteurs
et quadriporteurs locales, car la compagnie qui fournit
généralement ce service pour la Worldcon n’a pas de branche
au Québec. Nous aimerions leur fournir à l’avance un estimé
de nos besoins, aussi nous vous demandons de bien vouloir
nous aviser si vous désirez en réserver un. Prière de préciser si
vous vous voulez un triporteur léger; un modèle plus robuste;
une chaise roulante, motorisée ou non, etc. Si vos besoins
sont contingentés au prix, dites-le nous également. J’ai déjà
