Mr. Speaker, we thank our citizens, labour unions, business and civil
society, all of whom have contributed to this Budget.
I am grateful to the Prime Minister and my Cabinet Colleagues for
their understanding and support in the preparation of this Budget.
I take this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to the
Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Chief Budget
Officer and members of the Budget Unit, Policy Unit, Corporate
Communications Officer, management team and staff of the Ministry
of Finance, Manager and staff of the Government Printery.
I thank Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Non-Ministerial Departments
and other public officers who have contributed to the preparation
and delivery of this Budget.
We also thank the Clerk of Parliament and staff for their assistance in
the preparations for today’s Presentation.
