• Participated in President-to-President conference calls with ANA President Pam Cipriano, in quarterly<br />
open ANA Board of Directors’ meetings, and in quarterly legislative updates with ANA’s Department of<br />
Governmental Affairs.<br />
• Served on the ANA Nursing SOP Committee.<br />
• Served on the new Governor’s Task Force to Improve Healthcare in Alabama.<br />
• Presented “How to Get a Job and Keep it” at ASNA’s FACES.<br />
• Present during the <strong>2015</strong> Leadership Academy Kick-off.<br />
• Prepared the President’s Message for each edition of The Alabama Nurse.<br />
• Prepared a President’s Update every two months and distributed via email to all ASNA members.<br />
• Communicated frequently with ASNA BOD members and sent them relevant information from the ANA<br />
and other relevant nursing topics/issues.<br />
