The Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation hosted experts<br />

on a variety of topics throughout the school year. In addition<br />

to those featured on this page, the following individuals spoke in the<br />

lunch series: Duncan Alney, Firebelly Marketing; Michelle Kaiser<br />

Bray, Faegre Baker Daniels on “Social Media, Marketing, Privacy and<br />

the Law;” Philip McCool, partner, Taft Stettinius & Hollister and Kevin<br />

Hitchen, founder of Localstake on “Innovation, Crowdfunding and<br />

the Law: Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 375 and the Federal JOBS Act;”<br />

Brian V. Powers, BVP Legal and Matt Hunckler, VERGE Startups and<br />

POWDER KEG on “Apps, Startups and Law;” Dr. Marie Kerbeshian,<br />

vice president, IU Research & Technology Corporation and Kevin R.<br />

The Center also hosted representatives of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s<br />

IP Section: Marcelo Copat, Chair; Constance R. Lindman,<br />

Immediate Past Chair; Derek Lavender; Sara Philips; and Alex Van<br />
