7. Mechanical Zero Procedures (A.F. Only).
a. Mark a piece of plastic card stock or rigid paper
with lines from 1 to 5mm in 1 mm increments Set
the card on the front sight frame and check the
height of the top of the front sight post.
b. Using a dummy round or front sight post tool
adjust the front sight so the top of the front sight
post is 5mm above the machined surfaces of the
front sight frame.
