short et Tee shirt ! 18 nations étaient représentées<br />
par des équipes venant des quatre coins du<br />
monde, attirées par l’opportunité de régater<br />
dans des conditions idylliques, avec des tarifs de<br />
location compétitifs. Depuis 2007 et après cinq<br />
années d’existence, la China Cup regarde son<br />
expansion avec satisfaction. L’évènement perce<br />
au niveau national et international et devient<br />
une course renommée en Asie. A présent les<br />
média s’y intéressent (plus de 500 media ont<br />
communiqué sur la China Cup). A l’avenir, la<br />
China Cup encouragera encore la compétition<br />
dans le but de devenir un évènement majeur et<br />
d’accroitre sa renommée internationale. Dans<br />
cette optique, l’IRC est l’un des partenaires clés<br />
de la China Cup.<br />

IRC is making its very fast steps in China,<br />
especially for the 6th CHINA CUP. This time,<br />
we had 33 First 40.7, 11 Far East 26, 10 Soto<br />
27 boats and various other boats additionally,<br />
applying for their IRC applications. Most boats<br />
are registered in mainland China. It’s a sign of the<br />
growing importance of sailing in China that the<br />
6th edition of the China Cup International Regatta<br />
was the largest yet, with 91 boats competing.<br />
With larger mooring space at the marina the event<br />
would have been even bigger, with over 130<br />
boats hoping to take part in the four-day regatta<br />
at the end of October. From the fleet of small<br />
Far East 26 dayboats to the might of the Swan<br />
82S, Plus One, and Frank Pong’s 75ft Reichel-<br />
Pugh maxi sled, Jelik, the aim was to enjoy four<br />
competitive and fun days on the water in t-shirtand-shorts<br />
conditions. Teams from 18 different<br />
nations flew from every corner of the world to<br />

and breakthrough of the influence on home and<br />

And now the China cup has become the focus<br />
of the media, and accumulative over 500 medias<br />
have delivered reports on China Cup, from diverse<br />
story angles. Going forward, China Cup will<br />
further encourage the competition with the aim<br />
to become a world famous brand and a top sailing<br />
event. During this process, IRC is one of the best<br />
