B.3.2 Add pureQuery support to the project
Add pureQuery support to the GettingStartedWithPureQuery project following the
instructions in Chapter 2. When you choose the database connection for the project to
use, choose a connection to the SAMPLE database. On the Add pureQuery Support pane
of the Add pureQuery Support wizard, do not check the box next to Enable SQL capturing
and binding for JDBC applications. This check box enables Client Optimizer functionality.
It will be discussed in Chapter 6.
B.3.3 Modify the javax.sql.DataSource objects to use your connection
information
Locate the class hrm.HRMDataSourceFactory in the GettingStartedWithPureQuery
project. It is shown in Figure B.17. This class defines two DataSource objects -- one that
Human Resources Manager uses, and one that the test application uses. Modify these two
objects so that they contain the connection information for your SAMPLE database.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
