Summer is here and this means hustle<br />

and bustle in every Boots store across<br />

the UK.<br />

We pride ourselves on having<br />

everything our customers need for<br />

this season, whether they’re making<br />

the most of the British <strong>summer</strong>time or<br />

heading abroad for a holiday. For me,<br />

Boots has always been my one-stop<br />

shop for <strong>summer</strong> essentials!<br />

Suncare is the obvious drive and<br />

with trained advisors in store and our<br />

fabulous Boots Soltan range, we can<br />

provide the best care to customers<br />

in terms of preparing and protecting<br />

themselves. But we also have other<br />

resources, from pharmacy vaccinations<br />

and opticians offering <strong>summer</strong><br />

sunglasses to on-trend <strong>summer</strong> looks in<br />

the beauty department.<br />

In our Meadowhall store, some<br />

<strong>summer</strong> days can be quiet, so it is<br />

imperative that we are out and about<br />

letting customers know what we offer. It<br />

is the perfect time to run local in-store<br />

events to really maximise business and<br />

keep excitement going. The milestones,<br />

such as No7 celebrating 80 years and<br />

Baby celebrating an incredible 125 years,<br />

are great reasons to host events and<br />

create excitement for both customers<br />

and colleagues. It helps improve store<br />

engagement too.<br />

When it comes to No7, I think the<br />

success is down to offering accessible<br />

and affordable products to real women.<br />

Through our passionate advisors we<br />

help people achieve the best results for<br />

them and no one else.<br />

I think the strength of Boots comes<br />

from our ability to offer the whole<br />

package of health and beauty –<br />

healthcare is what made Boots in the<br />

first place. This convenience is highly<br />

valued by our customers.<br />

We’ve also all taken part in the big<br />

Listen Up survey. It’s a privilege to be<br />

able to voice your opinion, and influence<br />
