As the evening draws in, wrap up warm and get together with

place in aid of NSPCC. The jolly sound of Christmas carols will
dance through the winter air. Readings and guest performances
by sensational baritone Jonathan Veira and the Fidelity Choir

A merry chorus...
A true highlight of the festive season is returning
to Rochester Cathedral on 8 December, 7.30pm.
35 choristers will be accompanied by the Rochester
Camerata Orchestra as they perform Part 1 of Handel’s
Messiah and carols. With a promise of getting friends
and family in the Christmas spirit, this annual fundraising
concert is a sellout, and helps to provide the
Cathedral with the maintenance and attention it
needs, having not benefitted from public funding.

In the frosty air...
The Bell, Ticehurst is bringing an age old London
tradition back to life with their very own Frost
Fair, taking place on Sunday 6 December between
11am and 3pm. In the spirit of helping excellent
local artisans, stalls inside and out will be laden with
everything you need for a very special Christmas.
With the sweet sound of carol singers, and tasty
seasonal refreshments in hand, you’ll be sure to be
heading home with a bountiful supply of goodies and

Illuminate & illustrate
‘Notes of Christmas’ will be taking place at Leeds
Castle from 5-24 December. The magnificent
state rooms will be adorned with works of art
depicting Christmas carol inspired scenes, and
gently illuminated in white, gold and silver.
Bring the little ones along to take part in the
musical trail throughout the castle, as they
spot vintage instruments hidden amongst the
beautifully decorated spruce trees. Entrance to

display for the first time in a brand new exhibition
at the Beaney House Of Art and Knowledge in
