A merry chorus...<br />

A true highlight of the festive season is returning<br />

to Rochester Cathedral on 8 <strong>December</strong>, 7.30pm.<br />

35 choristers will be accompanied by the Rochester<br />

Camerata Orchestra as they perform Part 1 of Handel’s<br />

Messiah and carols. With a promise of getting friends<br />

and family in the Christmas spirit, this annual fundraising<br />

concert is a sellout, and helps to provide the<br />

Cathedral with the maintenance and attention it<br />

needs, having not benefitted from public funding.<br />

In the frosty air...<br />

The Bell, Ticehurst is bringing an age old London<br />

tradition back to life with their very own Frost<br />

Fair, taking place on Sunday 6 <strong>December</strong> between<br />

11am and 3pm. In the spirit of helping excellent<br />

local artisans, stalls <strong>inside</strong> and out will be laden with<br />

everything you need for a very special Christmas.<br />

With the sweet sound of carol singers, and tasty<br />

seasonal refreshments in hand, you’ll be sure to be<br />

Illuminate & illustrate<br />

‘Notes of Christmas’ will be taking place at Leeds<br />

Castle from 5-24 <strong>December</strong>. The magnificent<br />

state rooms will be adorned with works of art<br />

depicting Christmas carol inspired scenes, and<br />

gently illuminated in white, gold and silver.<br />

Bring the little ones along to take part in the<br />

musical trail throughout the castle, as they<br />

spot vintage instruments hidden amongst the<br />

beautifully decorated spruce trees. Entrance to<br />

‘Notes of Christmas’ is included in the price<br />

display for the first time in a brand new exhibition<br />

at the Beaney House Of Art and Knowledge in<br />
