The Advanced Practice Clinical Nursing Diploma in Oncology contains fifteen modules that
address the education and training of nurses who will provide comprehensive cancer care
to clients. Each module covers specific competencies. The clinical competencies developed
during this program are drawn from Mosby’s online nursing skills database. Each trainee is
issued with a username and a password to access the database. The trainee is expected to
take the theoretical test related to each competency online. The results of these tests will
be monitored by the assigned clinical instructor. Based on each trainee’s online exam
scores, the clinical instructor will schedule a practical competency test at the nursing skills
